Kim Rose-Gershow

Cycling Coach

Kim Rose-Gershow is a BikeMax Power Level 2 coach (Certification accredited by Hunter Allen / Training Peaks). She comes from a sports management background and specialized in coaching, sports medicine and sports psychology. She was a personal trainer for 10 years and a competitive cyclist, riding for the women’s Toyota Cycle Lab team. She has various cycling achievements including being an SA and provincial Vets champ. Amongst others Kim currently coaches the Women’s Nashua_Toyota Cycling team as well as two of the members on the professional European Lotto team.

Lindsey Parry

Running Coach

Lindsey Parry is a qualified Biokineticist and a 2:52 marathoner who has specialised in studying, teaching and coaching both high performance athletes and weekend warriors to be the best runners and triathletes they can be. He runs the Physiology Lab at the High Performance Centre at the University of Pretoria and is often more widely known as the official coach of the Comrades Marathon. He is also the High Performance Manager of the junior national triathlon team as well as the High Performance Coach for Triathlon South Africa and is a regular contributor to Runner’s World, Men’s Health and other publications. Lindsey also consults to various companies, organisations, individuals and sports clubs.

Nerice Swanepoel

Triathlon Coach

Nerice Swanepoel is a qualified Sport Scientist (with distinction) and Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the University of Pretoria. A u/16 South African champion in Mountain Biking, Nerice has always been very active in many sports mainly running and mountain biking; both of which she has also coached since her University days. She consults for the Institute of Fitness Professionals through lecturing physiology and other topics for the Exercise Science and Personal Fitness Trainer courses. Nerice has also been actively involved in setting up Bike Ability for kids, a mountain bike skills clinic as well as My FIT Camp, an outdoor training adventure. In 2010 she helped to build up Performance Lab, a specialised service for all endurance sport athletes and runs the lab full-time. Nerice does sport- specific lab testing at the Performance Lab and specializes in designing endurance and strength periodisation plans through which she has built up a formidable reputation with her peers and athletes.

Pippa Mullins

Dietician

Pippa Mullins is a registered dietitian specialized in Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee. She works at the dietetics practice, Anne Till & Associates where she consults to sportsmen of different sporting backgrounds and at varying levels of performance. Pippa enjoys sport herself, concentrating on distance running but also having competed in Olympic distance triathlons and Half Iron Man. Pippa writes for Health 24 as the ‘Sports Nutrition Expert’, Business Day as well as for cycling and running clubs. She is involved with educating not only sportsmen but health professions involved in a sporting environment by presenting at the South African Sports Medicine Association conference and lecturing for dietetics, physiotherapy, biokinetics and personal training courses in Johannesburg, Pretoria and at Stellenbosch University. She is also involved with education at junior and high schools, as well as the “Jake White Winning Ways Coaching Conferences”.
